The oldest trick in the aisle: raise the "regular" price, then advertise a percentage off it. Check what the same model sold for 60 days earlier. If the sale price is roughly the everyday price, that's not a discount, that's a sign.

- Compare the final out-the-door number, not the percentage
- Ask whether the military discount stacks with the holiday promotion
- Confirm delivery, setup, and old-mattress removal costs before you agree
- Check the trial and warranty terms — a deep discount with a 30-day window is not a bargain
Verifying Your Service Discount
Most retailers verify through ID.me or a similar service. Active duty, veterans, National Guard, Reserve, military spouses, and in many cases police, fire, and EMS qualify. Verification takes a couple of minutes and applies at checkout.
